Had breakfast at our new favourite cafe, St Ali - patron saint of coffee beans.
We were given a guided tour of the amazing roasting machine- they roast on tuesdays and fridays ...
and stood next to the Slayer expresso machine
It is made in Seattle and the only one in the UK.
We now know even more about beans grown at different heights in Brazil, Costa Rica and Guatamala.
We also discussed the merits of my favourite machine, the Faema E61 expresso machine ...apparently the old ones from the '60's are still going strong if well maintained - a bit like us really ...
